Scholarship Information
Scholarship Guidelines
The following are the guidlines for ALL applicants of the Mattie L. Branch Scholarship Foundation:
- Student must be 24 years of age or under.
- Student must be a citizen of the United States of America.
- Student must be a Resident of the State of Illinois.
- Student must be Enrolled or Attending a Accredited College/University.
- Student must have a G.P.A. of 2.8 or better.
- Student must show proof of enrollment and G.P.A.
- Student must show proof of financial need.
- Student must provide a Letter of Reference, listing proof of Community/Volunteer Service.
- Student must submit a complete MLBSF Application.
- Student must agree to publication, in the event of Award approval.
- Student must be knowledgeable of all requirements associated with receiving MLBSF funds.
- Student must report ALL Mattie L. Branch Scholarship donations to Internal Revenue Services (IRS).
